Recently, I have qualified in teaching Reformer Pilates. While there are clear parallels between Pilates and yoga, such as breath awareness, alignment, and core stability, each modality offers a distinct pathway to well-being.
Yoga invites introspection, fluid movement, and spiritual depth, while Reformer Pilates focuses on precision, resistance-based strength, and functional movement.
